High-Rate Solid Contact Clarifier (HRSCC)

Integrated mixing, flocculation and sedimentation in one unit.

All products

Overview

HRSCC clarifiers combine rapid mixing, flocculation and sedimentation in a single compact unit. Recirculated sludge contact enables fast floc formation and consistent effluent under variable loads.

How It Works

Process flow and treatment mechanism in simple steps:

  1. 1

Incoming water contacts recirculated sludge and chemicals in a mixing zone.

  2. 2

Dense flocs form rapidly under controlled upflow conditions.

  3. 3

Flocs settle efficiently in the clarification zone.

  4. 4

Clear effluent overflows while thickened sludge is withdrawn.

Applications

Industries and situations where this product is ideal:

  • Raw water clarification
  • Sand and grit removal
  • Metal finishing wastewater
  • Desalination and WTP pre-treatment
